Description
Experience Level: Expert
We have a SQL server database hosted on the cloud, which is currently linked to an MS Access front-end.
To give an idea of the scale, the database currently has around 150 tables, 150 forms and around 45000 lines of VBA code.
We want to look at the viability of moving key parts of the database to a web platform, for use by our staff and clients in viewing and updating data, adding information, viewing dynamic sales reports etc.
At this stage, we are not asking for a quote to do the work, but for someone to come to our offices for a day or so, take a look at what we've already got, and provide advice on the options for migrating to a web platform.
We are London-based, and would need someone to come to our office to discuss this. The budget is based on spending a day with us, and is indicative only - we really want to talk to someone who knows what they're doing and can chat through things with us...
I am experienced in database development using both Access and SQL Server, and although I have a certain level of web knowledge (HTML, CSS etc) and developed my company's website.
We would want to do this over the next few weeks.
