Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Looking for someone collecting information, web resources and planning a day out in London.
Draft:
Starting at Westminster Pier having a look at Big Ben and Houses of Parliament
Boat Trip to Greenwich
passing... "needle", Tower, Tower and London Bridge and and and ????
Greenwich
visiting Cutty Sark
walking up to the Observatory/museum? "Time Ball", Meridian...?
walking back to the foot tunnel under the Thames (next to the Cutty Sark)
On the other side taking DLR to Canary Wharf ((Break and Shopping)
Tube direction inner city or a stroll along Southbank (what can we see or here)
Tate Modern
Wibble Wobble bridge aka Millenium footbridge to St. Pauls Cathedral
option A) walk along the river to one of the "pub ships" enjoying the sunset with a drink
option B) taking the tube to a location with a public rooftop garden and enjoy the sunset there
Finishing the day with a London walk http://www.walks.com/
I require:
a) feel free to add your own ideas
b) a short text describing the tour with a rough time schedule in easy, global or plain English
c) a web search and bookmark selection on locations and attractions
d) information on prices/opening hours and so on e.g. which travel card for the tube, and so on
f) If possible a few pictures of the highlights from the web, preferably CC licence
Deadline: Saturday 12 May 2018 14:00h
These materials will be used to create a "web search and rally" in aTT program.
Just to clarify:
It is a "virtual trip" I will use the information for a "Teacher Training Program" on "web rally - a tool for tasked based learning" where the participants get this task and access to PCs at the end of the day they have to present their results.
It should be a full day from the morning to the night.
I will use your results as an example in the workshop and depending on quality as a benchmark tool.
Power Point or Word Document your choice.
