PHP Development work on Wordpress site

The site has 2 main sections:

Profiles – (sales person)
Deals – (weekly deals)

Currently it works like this: Assign profiles to deals, done by selecting the required deals in the RHS of each deals page. Quite long winded if you have lots of deals.

However, we need it do this: When creating a new deal, we need to be able to assign a deal to certain profiles, that will then appear on that person profile page. Previously we could do this via a widget positioned to the right in the on the deals page. You can see how this works in the profile section as mentioned above.

To summarise - You can assign a profile to a deal but not a deal to a profile. We need this to work both ways.

The Plugin used is called Post to Post, which allows you to connect/assign posts to one another. One of our former developers had added some custom code in order for you to connect Deals to profiles.
