PHP Developer (back end code)

We have an in-house PHP application (mostly PHP 4-style code) that needs some tweaks. We need a confident PHP developer to resolve a support issue (4154) – Prohibit buying International DDIs for Multi-User Personal Numbers.

This is a fixed price job & estimated to take approximately 1 working day to fix.

This is a bespoke application; it requires a proactive individual who is comfortable tackling unfamiliar environments. This could lead to extensive repeat business, as we have many more tweaks to make after this one.

Requirements: In-depth knowledge of PHP (min 5 years commercial experience), AJAX, Javascript, Apache, HTML, CSS, MySQL. Procedural code based on PHP4 practice and OOP essential based on good PHP5 practices. Linux/Unix knowledge (preferably Debian GNU), Mercurial & Subversion also essential. Test driven development (TTD) experience and familiarity with layered architecture and components would be a bonus.
