New database development for existing client

I am rebuilding an existing e-commerce enabled website - http://www.witsfoundation.co.za/ - using responsive design technology. The website has .asp functionality and requires a database to:

* process payments via third party payment gateway
* convert various currencies into ZAR (using a simple, editable calculator)
* store donor (customer) details
* store payment/donation (product) details by donor
* produce appropriate email responses on donation/payment
* store/display news articles (add, edit, delete text and images, including thumbnail image)

There is an existing SQL database with .asp code that does all this, but it is shared among different websites. The new website requires its own database. (The existing one can either be copied or used as a reference for building the new one.) However, it must allow for the responsive design of the website (eg scalable images in the news section)

Historical data on the existing DB needs to be transferred to the new one.

Work on this project will only begin towards the end of the year, so if you are wanting a job right now, this will not suit you.
