Our newly developed website is a Wordpress Automotive Theme That has feed import functionality That was TOTALLY Altered to our use.... The developer that was working on it was saked because he was unprofessional and have lake of SQL skill in approaching our targets.
We have redeveloped this website out of automotive Them. The website has a new better look and feed import functionality that is totally AUTOMATIC …
Description of requirements/features:
*** The below part is VERY IMPORTANT and u need to show ur understanding of it in ur quote otherwise I WILL NOT CONSIDER YOUR OFFER***
Description : "The way feed works is that our local system exports a CSV file every 1 hour and sends it to the website hosting server via FTP then the website server has a script running in the background to check for the Time and Date tag on the .csv feed file and compares it with the last time it has committed an import if newer csv found it will import it…. This all happens from the backend … the import available through the WordPress interface will not work with our feed CSV… it has to be done through the backend SQL.
This will be the first task to show ur capabilities...I also have alot of work for you if u can get this task right
the Issue is that the feed Import process functionality on the website is going through this issue the import process is slow, it takes about 20 – 30 mins to import and during the importing process all stock on the website disappear and start to show one by one while processing…. Need solution for this from an Experienced SQL and PHP programmer
Requirements:
1- Optimize the DB structure and import functionality to work Faster and stock on website shouldn't disappear while importing...part of optimizing to Change the CSV import to not use photos names from the csv... to quicken the import process..
a. importing should use all the photos that are under the directory where it has it’s ID-StockNo e.g stock no HH20 has an id of 1003 then the stock should use the photos under the folder named 1003-HH20/
b. Make sure all the fields included in the CSV are imported regardless of their use except the photos ones.
C. homepage counters have to read their values of the CSV
D. Some categories and sub categories search on home page isn’t working well with feed. needs fix.
Specific technologies required: MySQL,
