Misc programming in STATA

We have approximately 40 STATA do-files which need to be updated. Each file loads various public-domain data into memory (usually from CSV format) and processes the data in order to create a monthly-frequency dataset with a handful of variables germane to the topic of each file.

We need someone to go through some of these files and make sure they are updated with the latest data available. So the job is in two parts: (a) Locate and download the latest version of the relevant public-domain dataset, (b) Tailor the DO file to accommodate this latest data point.
