Minecraft Server install on Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS

I require a Minecraft server to be installed on my new VPS I have just purchased. I know this is a very easy task but I\'m just not at all experienced at command line installations and configurations. I\'m sure this will only take a few minutes to setup but I am at a loss.
