Hi,
We have a full backup of a website built on Umbraco which needs to be put live on our hosting.
The website itself is very simple. No fancy features or functions. Around 10 static pages with images and links to an external booking system. Full details given once a proposal is accepted.
Here are the requirements. Can you do this...
This ZIP file contains three ZIP files that can be used to restore the website:
1. Unzip and restore the database backup from 'Database Backup.zip'.
2. Unzip the 'Site Files & Code.zip' file.
3. The markup folder contains the frontend JS and CSS files. The Website folder has the main site project.
4. Open the .sln file in Visual Studio (2017 or newer) and rebuild the solution (this will restore the Nuget packages as well).
5. Deploy the compiled site to your server and set up the site in IIS (.NET Framework v4.6 and Url Rewrite v2 are required on the server).
6. Unzip the 'Media.zip' file and copy the media files into the media folder of your deployed site.
7. Add a temporary hostname to the site in IIS and you now should be able to load and view the site.
This job is for a developer with experience of migrating umbraco websites only. Please do not apply if you haven't taken on a job like this in the past.
Looking forward to your proposal. Please begin the proposal with the word UMBRACO to prove you have read this before sending your message.
