Looking for some PHP training

I am looking to get some intermediate PHP and Javascript training.
I do know front-end development, but looking to increase my skills so i can do alittle more.

I am currently working on a project that i would like to use as a base to learn off.
The project is a small personal thing and is simple, just so i can get the hang of PHP and javascript.

What i need to do is connect my form to the database (which i can do), then validate the form via javascript to then show an error message an highlight the field that is required and if the entry is submitted OK, it shows a message to say so.

I am a fast learner and do understand how coding works.
How you would teach me would be up to you, but sound / text and or video would be good.
