Loading screen programmed for my portfolio website

I've recently built a new single page portfolio website in Adobe Muse but the length of the page is making the load time horrendous (around 8 seconds or so)

I would like to have a loading page appear while the page is loading like on this website: http://www.enjoyyourprivacy.com

it will just be the word LOADING with the word filling up with colour as it get to the end.
