Joomla (accordion menu)

I thought i'd firstly provide some info before going into details in order to make the task clear:

a) I recently moved my website from Zend FrameWork to Joomla platform;
b) I upgraded my curent menu to accordion style;
c) My current menu consists of "Menu Title" and
d) "Description" (small text under each menu title);

My Task is as follows:

1. Newly installed accordion menu (a) needs to be configured in such a way to match existing menu (b) ...and style;
2. I would like to retain the description (d). The tricky thing is that i would like the description to disappear when clicking on the main menu - the menu extends and the description text (d) disappears, whereas sub-menu titles appear (Please note: no description for "Sub-Menu" is required); the test site is http://www.theextenders.com/BETA/ To see the how "Accordion Menu" works - click on the """ONLINE STORE"""" link;

Other notes:

i have done some little work to the css file for "accordion menu" but i think it needs more adjustments because i would really like this menu to look alike my current (with titles and description and same style css settings). I have little knowledge of web development that is way i turn for your help.
