Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am looking for a Java applet that can be used on my website for users to upload there STL files and then obtain an instant rapid prototyping quote. The applet will need to display the STL file and the user will be able to rotate the model, it will also need to analyse the file and provide the following information:
1. Check for any errors in the file i.e reversed normals, wall thickness, bad edges
2. Overall model size
3. Volume of model
4. Surface area of model
5. Generate a thumbnail image of the model
This information then needs to be passed over to a PHP webpage where the price can be calculated and displayed.
Please provide a price for completing the project and also how long you expect it to take. Please provide examples of previous work as well. Computational Geometry experience a must.
Many Thanks
