Integrate existing Wordpress plugin into website

A custom wordpress plugin which was installed on our old style site now needs to be either - integrated into our new theme, or installed using a new theme. The plugin allows user to register, list events and book and pay for events. All that really needs doing is redoing css to match new site but we need someone who also has excellent knowledge of php in case a function needs tweaking and in case there are integration issues.
