I need a developer to make small changes to a website using Avada Theme

General information for the website: We need small changes to the theme

Kind of development: Basic Customization of existing website

Description of requirements/features: We require some basic amendments to be made to the Avada wordpress theme template & to the Revolution Slider.

>> We would only like to receive applications from developers who have experience with both of these.

The reason this is important is because the theme is so big, even the smallest of amendments can effect other seemingly unrelated areas of the site. IT IS ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL THAT THE THEME IS NOT BROKEN BY THE AMENDMENTS. The theme will be checked to ensure all is working and its parameters stay in tact, or at the very least, we can identify exactly what will be affected as a consequence of our actions.
For anybody experienced this should be very straight forward work

We require these amendments completed by or before TUESDAY 21st June by 10:00am.

Details of Amendments Required as follows:
Basic Avada Theme Instructions: (Whomever is awarded the project will get very clear detailed instructions)


1. The double tapping buttons throughout the theme seems to be a re-occuring issue on mobile. We would like a single tap.

General Scrolling (iPad):
The website is jerking as you scroll through the webpage on iPad 4. Do not know why this maybe happening? (We believe this maybe to do with speed?)

Android: (IMPORTANT)
Generally the website seems to load content on the android is very slow. Do you have any suggestions for how to address this?

Revolution Banner:

1. Youtube Play Button Issue (THE MOST IMPORTANT)
When using the (video) banners on mobile, tapping on the ‘Play button’ doesn’t work. You have to tap it twice to work.
If you tap ‘Play Video’ icon it opens up a youtube video which doesn’t automatically play. As a user you can see the spinning wheel but nothing happens unless you tap again and then it works ok.

I assume this is a Youtube issue because this issue does not occur if we use Vimeo videos!
However the client cannot use Vimeo as all his content is on Youtube.

2. Intro Video
The intro video can be paused, but you cannot resume the video?

3. The 'X' Icon and hover state to exit the video needs to be repositioned correctly. (IMPORTANT)

4. We wanted to add add a dotted overlay to the video, options within the slider such as add dots to banner seem to be obscuring the youtube play icon so cannot be used. Much less important than the other issues, but you might be able to assist?

5. General Speed of theme is Slow. (IMPORTANT)
Im not sure how the theme loads content but I think generally speaking it can be improved. We have optimised all the images we upload, nothing is over 500 - 700kb
The theme offers many options, including bespoke code blocks, lazy loading options and the ability to commit certain elements from mobile. Perhaps you could look at this and advise?
