I need a basic Coldfusion script for Amazon Marketplace API

Description of every page/module: I am trying to connect to the Amazon Marketplace api using Coldfusion and not having much luck. I need a script that will connect and authenticate against the API and then output the API response.
Description of requirements/features: The main issue I am having is the authentication so rather than spend hours figuring it out I am hoping someone who has done this before can just put a working example script together for me and I will tailor it from there for each of the different API functions.

I am happy for the example to connect to a basic function which accepts only one or two parameters.

The API response is JSON so the output just needs to be a CFDUMP of the data. I can go from there.

I am unable to provide the authentication keys and marketplace ID as these are a clients so your script will need testing with your own sourced details and then work with the ones I have when I enter them and test.

The code will need to be written in Coldfusion, I would prefer not to use cfscript but if this is necessary then not a major problem.
The code does not have to be in a component, it can just be a standard .cfm page. I will adapt and move forwards once I am connected and getting a response.
