Help getting a form to work in Joomla

I have recently changed my website from a static site to a cms driven website. I require help with a form I am trying to integrate with Joomla.

Basically the form is setup so when the user fills it in and submits, it sends them a brochure via an auto redirect I have setup with certain mail boxes. The complication comes because i initially set it up so each drop down menu corresponded with its own mail box so there is an option of 5 different brochures within the same form.

I am a developer myself but whenever I try to structure it in Joomla it fails so I require someone with a better understanding of Joomla than me to help. I'm not interested in any paid software such as ChronoForms etc

UK based developer preferred but will consider anyone if rate is decent.
