Description
Experience Level: Expert
We’re Altogether Better is a social action organisation, led by the team behind the award-winning charity BeatBullying.
We are looking for an experienced Front End Developer to work on one of our flagship programmes; migrating it from a legacy PHP framework to our Erlang/Python web framework. You will be working alongside two Python developers and an Erlang developer, plus a UX Developer and the rest of the digital/design team.
Your skills should include: HTML, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and JQuery. You should be comfortable coding to W3C standards, and fluent in the usual accessibility, usability and compliance standards.
Employment will be on a freelance basis, with an estimated workload of around 4/5 days per week on an ongoing basis, for at least three months. This is a short-term contract which may well be extended or offered as a permanent position - this will be reviewed after three months.
Payment will be dependent on skill and level of experience, but will be up to £3000 pcm. This contract will suit a self-motivated freelancer. We prefer our contracted staff to be able to work from our offices in Crystal Palace, but we are flexible about working from home also. You would be required to make meetings at our HQ, so the contract would suit individuals with easy access to London.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as humanly possible.
