Description
Experience Level: Expert
A young but growing East London design agency requires the development of a content managed (CMS) corporate portfolio web site for a small company that creates films and animations for the medical industry.
It has 6 sections, home page, about (inc service), clients, contact, work (case studies). The work section would be the richest and heaviest content section.
A loading page will be needed using an animation of the company logo.
The site interface, the main feature of the site, is a Papervision 3d menu. A 'wow' factor is desired with very little content.
A user presented with the interface of rectilinear panels representing the different sections of the site, browses the content. Nice transitions and some movement in 3d via mouse is required.
The content would consist of standard copy, some still images and video content. Ultimately all content would be view square on.
The CMS ideally would cover the entire site. However is it only really needed for the Work section where new case studies would be uploaded by the client, including the video content. The amount of case studies allowed to power through the papervision interface would be fixed to avoid any messy consequences.
The entire site will be wireframed before any design or development, and full functionality defined. The design and project management would be dealt with entirely in house by PrettyMannox.
The work needs to commence by the 10th Nov 2010, so availability is almost immediate.
