Flash developer / graphic designer required for 'design your own' editor

I run an online knitwear company in which customers can design their own knitwear using an online editor. I come from a IT background so taught myself enough flash and actionscript to put together a simple designer for the one product we launched with - beanies, to save on startup costs.

I've tried to attach a screenshot of the editor but this site is returning errors.

This winter season we are expanding to scarves, snoods, wristwarmers and mittens and I need to redesign and program this editor to enable the hundreds of design options the customer will have while remaining expandable in the future. I'm not just looking for this editor to be copied and expanded but I'm hoping for design advice to give it a new (better) look and increase usability.

It needs to plug into a php backend so that designs can be both loaded and saved.

I will be redesigning the site over the next month to include our new collections and shifting it's image more towards the fashion market.
