Flash Developer

I work for a company called Nativ and we are looking for a freelance flash developer to work with us in-house. Nativ has developed a platform designed to take video content from anywhere, in any format; store it, make it manageable, and then deliver it; in any format to any video channel out there. It\'s a total video logistics platform for video-rich companies and brands in the broadcast, entertainment, sports, automotive and post-production business.

Some very successful content marketers use Nativ’s services to support their video logistics operations including: BBC, Red Bee Media, iPlayer, MTV, TV2, BMJ, Turner Broadcasting, Sony, Audi, CBS Outdoor.

We need someone with the requisite skills (see below) to start in the very near term to develop functionality for a flash player for video. We estimate the work will take about 4-6weeks and we are looking for someone with acute knowledge of flash programming rather than design skills. We have a number of projects starting in the foreseeable future so it would be good if arising out of this project we could build a longer term relationship. Please see below a list of required experience:

Flash/Flex/Actionscript developer
- Experience with Actionscript 2 and 3
- Experience with Flash IDE and Flex Builder
- Specific ActionScript knowledge required:
- Object orientation and inheritance
- Video playback and control
- NetConnection and NetStream classes
- Flash Media Server streaming
- Component (SWC) development

Would you be interested in working with us and would you be available in a month\'s time to begin work for potentially up to 6weeks? Ideally you would work from our London offices but we could accommodate individuals who work from home provided we can agree on face to face and web based meetrings.
