Flash Ad Banner with external xml

We would like to create a countdown clock advertisement to run on blogs leading up to the opening of an exhibition.

The countdown clock will need to show seconds counting down over a 2-week period and upon completion would change the message to show the exhibition is now open.

The design would mimic a digital clock or similar but, I assume, it would need to reference an external xml document to count down over the 2 week period.
