Development of a Art Gallary site*NEED QUOTE ASAP*
Hi I have a job for you if your up for it and we get the job.
It would be a redesign of an art galleries site. http://www.lefevrefineart.com/ should be very simple as I will do all the designs and pass you the PSD's the only tricky thing might be the back end. They want to be able to upload text and the artiest work (jpg ) them selves.
They have this in place at the moment although it isn't the easiest to use. See the link below although
**** Don't upload anything as the site is live. ****
We could use what they have and improve it or if it is easer start again.
The images would be the right size and resolution before they are uploaded.
Questions:
1. Would you be interested in pitching for the job
2. How long would it take you to build the site and the upload feature
3. How much would you want for the job
4. Would you be able to work on the upload feature while I did the designs
See below for the upload link and passwords and the email for the job.

THE JOB
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, here is an outline of what we want to include on the website as well as the link to our current website and websites that we like the look of. I definitely want to manage all the content myself so the programme will have to be pretty simple.
Our website
http://www.lefevrefineart.com/
We don’t want to change our brand or our colour. The gallery has a long history, The Lefevre Gallery was started in 1926 and went into liquidation in 2002, our gallery Lefevre Fine Art evolved out of the old gallery, so the website needs to be quite classic with a contemporary edge as we now exhibit contemporary artists as well. Some of the websites below are too contemporary but my boss and I really like the clean look of those ones, I think L&M is quite a good example of classic and modern. We won’t want a lot of flash, I spoke to someone who said that if we went for that look it wouldn’t be possible for me to update the website very easily or at all.
Other websites we like
http://www.gagosian.com/
http://www.acquavellagalleries.com/artists/
http://www.lmgallery.com/
http://www.waddington-galleries.com/index.php
http://www.jameshymanfineart.com/pages/artists.html
http://www.miandn.com/
http://www.jerwoodspace.co.uk/index.html
http://www.marlboroughfineart.com/artists/
http://www.davidtunklfineart.com/index.htm
The list of artists on our website is very long and if you click on 70% of them a page will come up that says Please refer to gallery’, this is quite annoying and while we want to keep the list we would like the artists we have in stock at any time to be highlighted, you can see how on the Acquavella website. I really like the catalogue presentation on Waddington’s website, what do you think would be involved in that sort of presentation?
If you want to chat about anything then give me a call on the number below
I’d like to look at all the quotes I have received and decide with my boss this week, do you think you’ll be able to get back to me in the next day or so? Do you think you could send me some links to websites that you’ve done?
If you need any other information let me know.
Thanks so much! Speak soon
