Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: Provides a brokerage service between IT professionals and business owners/entrepreneurs
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of every page/module: Homepage should be very simple and to the point. Use the following website as a reference but obviously not looking to copy the content, just the concept.
http://www.freelancer.com/
For now, just be concerned about the section from the top down to the line "Hire Freelancers and Find Freelance Jobs Online" presuming the site hasn't changed much by the time you look.
Description of requirements/features: My website will provide almost the same service (but at a more local level) so the links will be almost the same. My website can be viewed at the following location:
http://www.itlance.eu
Instead of "Hire" and "Work" I'll probably use "Browse" and "Post".
The idea is to go with a "less is more" approach to keep the user focused on getting on with whatever service they want to use and as quickly as possible.
CMS and Admin requirements: n/a
Specific technologies required: HTML and Twitter Bootstrap
Similar urls: http://www.freelancer.com/
Extra notes: You should not really need any copy text to get some sort of simple draft together as per the example site I have provided.
Feel free to redesign the logo if you feel something different would better compliment your vision for the overall design.
I'm happy to pay more for something impressive.
NOTE: This is not just a design project. The page will also actually need to be marked up with images and css/js provided. Any images/graphics used must have relevant permissions for public, commercial use on the site.
