Data Entry Assistant for Online Store

Data entry assistant required to upload products to an e-commerce website. The website sells musical equipment, karaoke systems, disco lighting etc.

The product information will be from a combination of excel files and suppliers websites.

Applicants should have a strong command of the English language, should pay attention to detail and ideally, should have experience in data entry. Any exposure to the music and lighting industry is beneficial.

Yes, we are happy for this work to be done remotely, offshore. We ask that your command of written English is good.

The website is a custom built website rather than an 'off the shelf' shopping cart. However, products are uploaded via a GUI so the only technical skills required are general IT skills, working with with simple spreadsheets, downloading and copying pictures and such like.

We are looking to pay someone an hourly rate and would expect someone to meet requirements for speed / quality - these figures depend on the products that are being uploaded on any particular day (some require more work than others) but we place higher regard on quality. We will of course allow some time for initial training and feedback.

Initially we are looking for someone to work in the region of 16 hours a week for several weeks but this could well be extended as we have plans to bring on new product ranges in the coming weeks.
