Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
ONLY EXAMPLES OF INTERACTIVE GRAPHICS YOU HAVE CREATED WILL BE REVIEWED FOR THIS PROJECT.
Introduction: Experienced Front End UI Javascript developer needed immediately. We would like to create a single page custom visualization similar to circos or D3 (see examples below and a few attached). Angular or ReactJS expertise would be great for this project.
http://nicgirault.github.io/circosJS/demo/ (see HISTOGRAM or SCATTER on this page)
https://bl.ocks.org/kerryrodden/7090426 (see totals displayed on hover)
https://charts.animateddata.co.uk/tennis/matchTree.html
http://vizuly.io/product/sunburst/
BACKEND: Our data is stored and accessible in Elasticsearch which supports many client libraries (https://www.elastic.co/products/elasticsearch). Client will assist with creating and test elasticsearch queries using the elastic query builder as needed to inject into client code. Developer can use Javascript elasticsearch client library to deliver the following objectives:
1. Visualization must run in a browser
2. Must support interactivity including mouse-over events
3. Must develop input box for live search and filtering (posting to elasticsearch and parsing json response)
4. Must use standard color scheme and front-end elements (material design preferred)
5. Mouseover totals most be displayed in separate frame element (a text description area)
6. Build a simple landing page to launch charts and/or dashboards (incl existing Kibana charts we have built)
Required Elements:
Our test data is a hosted elasticsearch REST endpoint. Each year in our data set contains multiple fields (provided upon project award). We would like the years to comprise the "slices" on the outer circle. Inside each year would be sub elements and contain subtotals of our fields (these would be elasticsearch aggregates - query responses)
Please describe how you would approach this project and send links of working examples (not screenshots please).
