General information for the website: Online fashion store
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: I have an online fashion store, and hold some items in stock available for immediate dispatch and others that have a longer lead time. To prevent customers purchasing longer lead time items via next day delivery, I do not offer a next day shipping service on my website. This in turns generates a lot of enquires and manual shipping charging, if an item is available for next day delivery.
I am therefore looking for a developer/app, that will enable a Next day shipping option only on selected items.
There will need to be some kind of clear badge on the product listing highlighting that the item is available for next day dispatch. If a customer has a mixed basket with some next day shipping items and other standard shipping items, at the checkout the customer should not be allowed the option to purchase any (long lead time items) using the next day delivery service.
I would also like if possible, for the checkout to estimate the delivery day for each type of item, based on the shipping method selected.
My current site is on shopify, and I have not been able to locate an app that provides the above service. The developer of theme has advised that this is not something they can provide. I am keen to get the ball rolling on this as soon as possible, to capture more seasonal sales.
