Creating an online calculator in dec 2011or jan 2012

My son has built a website for our company in flash and has created a calculator that displays our buying prices. The problem we have now is that this calculator must be updated manually on a daily basis.

We are purchasing scrap gold, and our prices are 34% below the live gold price. The calculator my son built, requires someone to manually type in the live price and the calculator reduces it by 34% and this gives our buying price.

The live gold price, can be found online. What I am hoping is that it would be possible to connect the calculator to the online gold price via some coding so the price updates automatically.
