Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Is it fake news? Chrome extension
Description of every page/module: The extension would read what webpage your on (and links on that page if facebook, twitter, etc) and would rate the credibilty of the news source.
Description of requirements/features: There are some other features I would like to add (plus any you may think of). One idea was a speedometer that leans left or right depending on which way the website leans, (e.g guardian some left, whilst fox News would lean quite right etc) with a concept attached, along with a little icon that would sit on the end of FB/twitter links that shows whether it's a valid source of news or not?
Also, would like the chrome extension to read the URL of the website it's currently on and then rate said website using a credibility speedometer too (similar to screen shot?)
Can't upload images so included links below:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4trbRg9hv33S0J6UUd1QWM4NFk
CMS and Admin requirements: would like a backend where Admin can add websites, which include rating and political leaning. Would like a feature that allows users to rate websites from the drop down menu too, but the rating has to be verified by an admin so people don't troll the extension.
In the future would also like to possibly create an ios/android app (similar to ad blocker?) that would verify links on a mobile as the majority of news is consumed on mobile. Got to walk before we can run though ey?
Look forward to hopefully hearing from you!
Extra services needed: Hosting, Security
Similar urls: fakenewsmonitor.org
Extra notes: I've already purchased a domain, I could do all the branding (unless you'd rather do it yourself to keep it easier?)
With all the mention of "Fake News" in the media lately I think this could really take off if seen by the right people. Just an idea I've had rattling around in my head for a while and would love to bring it to life.
I've attached images of a concept I created. The concept is the menu of the dropdown menu the user would click on whilst browsing the news website/news sources' social media page.
, the thumbs up and thumbs down would be the icons next to the URL's on social media & the icon of the chrome extension (top right) if the user is on a news website.
It would only be on social media pages such as Facebook & Twitter as this is where the majority of fake news is shared that the whole webpage would need to be crawl the URLS. But if you went to a website that was "fake news/real news" then the icon of the Chrome extension would change to red/green (the only URL needing to be read on any other webpage apart from Facebook & Twitter would be the main URL (e.g bbcnews.co.uk) and no other URL on this page would need to be read).
