Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have a VPS running CentOS 6.4 and cPanel 11.38. I also have 1H Hive, Guardian and Hawk installed. I have 1.5Gb of guaranteed RAM and 2x priority of 24 2.4GHz CPUs(I don't know what the 'priority' stuff means :-)
I've had the VPS with the current host for about 6 months now and they *said* they optimized it when it was provisioned.
What I'd like is for someone to optimize Apache and MySQL for me so that they are running as efficiently as possible. If you know what you are doing and can tweak the 1H software settings that would be even better. I'd also like the server hardening.
My aim is to ensure that everything is secure and running as smoothly as possible to hopefully avoid upgrading any time soon.
I'm also getting cpanellogd failure emails several times a day and I'd like that looking into and resolved.
I'm looking to pay around £15-£20 an hour and have based the budget on this taking a couple of hours, however I'm open to offers.
I'd ideally like someone who is also available to do small jobs in the future as needed, so ideally someone in an English speaking country, and ideally in the UK.
So let me know what you think and why I should hire you, and we can get started :-)
