Change Permalink Settings on a Wordpress site hosted on a Namesco Linux Server

Hi

I need someone to help implement a code on my websites that enables my Wordpress permalinks to work, as when I change the setting in the Wordpress dashboard I get a 404 error page.

From doing research online, there is something with the Namesco servers that stops this change when done in the permalinks settings on Wordpress. The only way in which it can be done is by a specific code, however I need someone to implement this.
