Hi guys,
This is Carlos, I have been in development for 20 years, I have my fair share of Backend and Frontend work.
The job
I am building a website with a small version of iOS and Android App. I already have a SQL server database (Mongo-db could be considered) and I have the design of the pages, just missing the implementation but first I want to start developing the services.
The task is just to build the services, I will supply during the work some descriptions of the services needed as well as the database. Think that the database has almost 50 tables and each one will have minimum 3 services, so we are talking about 150 services (copy and paste, change the query, EASY most of them), we have only 3 main tables, the rest are very small. The Candidate have to prove that he/she worked in an App with Sign Up and Sign In because it will need to copy and reuse that code. The candidate have to help me to install and test this in the first days, so I can test regularly, not wait till the end for bad surprises, so hands on from the beginning, I will help some times. See attached video, the app in the end.
The Candidate
- The candidate has to prove that he/she has worked in similar apps before, not just with links, with a very small demo.
- The Candidate should be capable the identify what needs to be built and be proactive with ideas.
- The candidate must be tidy and following naming conventions for services and add comments explaining the functionality.
- The Candidate must prove that he/she worked in an App with Sign Up and Sign In because it will need to copy and reuse that code.
- The candidate must help me to install and test this in the first days, so I can test regularly, not wait till the end for bad surprises, so hands on from the beginning, I will help sometimes.
- I already work with the fare share of developers that say they can do it, but they do not have the skills, in that case the job will be cancelled, and any advance payment will be requested to be returned. To avoid that, demonstrate that you can do before sending any advance or invoices.
The success of the work and if the app get successful, we will have a very long term relationship.
