Yo PPH Web Devs! What is up? Here's a fun project for who ever is weird enough to take it on!
THE BRIEF - in brief.
To show a photo of me taken each day, everyday. — I am taking a photo of myself everyday and have been for 11 years on and off, and this app would share the latest photo from that day. It's bizarre, but stay with me.
HOW?
Here's an idea how it could work, tell me a better way if you think you know otherwise... I was thinking to use IFTTT to send the Everyday photo album on iCloud to an FTP folder / Dropbox / Amazon Hosted FTP bucket and the webpage will display the photo by URL.
PARAMETERS
If more than 1 photo was taken that day, it must only show the last photo. The photos would effectively collect in an album. If no photo is taken that day then the most recent image will appear.
LINK to VIDEO
The page should also have a link to the full video top Right that reads "VIDEO", which should also be hosted on an FTP - I would like a place to upload this video in the backend so it can updated without the need for your assistance. The Video page will play the video instantly. A link to TODAY will link back to the front page.
DISPLAY:
Photo should load full screen on mobile and just centered on desktop, around 600px high should be fine. Maybe an option in backend to make it custom.
FEW EPIC BACKEND TWEAKS
And I also have a logo to go in the top left. I'll provide this, and would like the option of changing it.
The Background to be randomised colours. I'll give you the hex codes of the random backgrounds. And would like a way of selecting colours in back end.
WHAT NEXT
I'll reveal the URL and access to the domain etc when successfully won.
THE FUTURE POSSIBILITIES
Would like to eventually tag the people in the everydays, so that people that have appeared multiple times can search the images they appear in. Let me know if this is something you'd be able to complete in the future?
