Ajax Post Sorting & Filtering - Custom WordPress theme

I’m looking for someone to create some filters and sorting options for post grids on my website.

It will need to be custom-coded, I don’t want to use plugins for this.

Here’s what I need.

On this page I just need to get the post count and pagination to work correctly. You’ll see at the moment the count is incorrect and clicking the pagination goes to a 404 page.

The pagination and post count should be above and below the grid.

On this page I need a dropdown that allows the user to sort by oldest and latest posts.

I need filter buttons that allows users to filter by category and author.

I need the post count and pagination fixed.
