Wireshark Dissector (for simple proprietary protocol)

A Wireshark Dissector is required for Wavestore 8601 protocol (a proprietary protocol which is not documented elsewhere). All that is needed is to dissect the TCP stream into commands, and display the header fields, and the body in hex. There is one special command exchange on connection, then a standard header. Details will be provided. Deliverables will be the source code (which can be open source if you wish) and a build (as a plug in) for Windows 32bit.

Since TCP/IP data is a stream, you'll have to reassemble split packets. Look at:

This should be no more than a day's work if you are already familiar with Wireshark dissectors.
