Description
Experience Level: Entry
We are looking for an experienced VoIP/telephony developer to troubleshoot and fix issues in our voice broadcasting platform.
Issues to resolve:
1. Consent Script Not Playing Reliably
• The consent script must always play when a call is answered.
• Currently, if the recipient answers after several rings, the consent script sometimes does not play.
2. Voicemail Detection & Message Delivery
• When a call is not answered and goes to voicemail, the full voice message should be delivered automatically.
• Currently, voicemail messages are not being delivered.
3. Truncated Message on Rejected Calls
• When a recipient rejects a call, the system sometimes leaves a partial/truncated message instead of the full template.
• Example: the message starts in the middle of the script rather than from the beginning.
Requirements:
• Experience with voice broadcasting systems, IVR, SIP, Twilio, Plivo, Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, or similar telephony platforms.
• Strong understanding of Answering Machine Detection (AMD), voicemail handling, call states, and audio playback.
• Ability to identify root causes and implement a reliable fix.
Deliverable:
• Fully functioning voice broadcasting flow where:
o Consent script always plays when a call is answered.
o Voicemail receives the complete message when the recipient does not answer.
o No truncated messages on rejected or forwarded calls.
o Testing and verification of all call scenarios.
Please include relevant telephony/voice broadcasting experience in your proposal.
