Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: Medical plugin for Microsoft Office and Dragon NaturallySpeaking
Num. of modules: 2
Extra notes: Medincle provides two pieces of software to students in the UK.
The first - simply called Medincle - is a biomedical spellchecker that plugs in to Microsoft Office.
The second - MedinclePlus - plugs in our biomedical dictionary into Dragon NaturallySpeaking.
We are looking for someone who would be able to test our latest versions of Medincle on Microsoft Office 2010/2013 to ensure legacy compatibility, and on the latest version of Dragon Professional Individual (v15). In order to keep costs to a minimum it would be ideal if the tester already had a copy of these programs, although if necessary we can provide a licence. The version of Windows for the testing environment shouldn't be a critical issue, although Windows 10 would be preferred. In terms of the complexity of testing, both Medincle and MedinclePlus simply import our custom dictionary into Microsoft Word or Dragon. As such there is only the installer to test, and no actual app or further functionality beyond ensuring the integration has been done successfully.
We are expecting the most likely issues to be with the latest version of Dragon and would want a clear report on errors identified that can be fed back to our development team. If the job goes well there is likely to be further similar testing required in the future.
Kind regards,
Niels

Hello Niels,
Approximately how many words are in the biomedical dictionary, and what representative percentage would you want testing ?
