Medium auto-follow bot

I am interested in creating a auto-follow bot/macro for the website Medium.com
Medium is a great resource for knowledge but also a place to get noticed.

I am envisioning a Chrome Extension that links with your profile, you supply it with a list of Medium Profiles and it auto-follows them. Of course this means a timer between follows so you don't get marked down as spam and banned. This can be a developer extension that you unpack, it doesn't have to go through the store ( example: MeetLeonard )
