Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the business: Social Media Reporting
Description of requirements/functionality: Google Sheets - Bit.ly click counter
We use google sheets to document posts that have went out on social platforms. These posts often feature a link that has been shortened with the bit.ly service. We use this service to check how many clicks there have been on each link. Currently we do this by adding '+' to the end of each link, for example on this link: http://bit.ly/1yS9L5S - add '+' to the end to see how many clicks it has had.
We would like a google sheets (or excel if google sheets isnt possible) plugin that pulls this information from a cell that has the url in it. For example =bitly(Cell with URL) - would give you the total number of clicks on that URL
Ideally we would also like to set a date range so we can see the number of clicks within certain periods. For example:
=bitly(Cell with URL),010115,150115 - this would give the number of clicks to that URL between the 1st and 15th of January.
Thank you
