Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We require PHP, HTML and CSS development that will create a facebook event and list attendees if any attendees are registered for the event.
You will follow these guides:
http://www.phpeveryday.com/articles/Facebook-Programming-API-Events-P852.html
http://www.masteringapi.com/tutorials/how-to-create-facebook-events-using-graph-api/49/
http://www.masteringapi.com/tutorials/how-to-create-facebook-events-using-graph-api-advanced/59/
We will provide you with the title, date, location, description as an array of values.
An option to create a facebook event is displayed if an event has not already been created previously.
We will require that the facebook event ID is passed back to My School Holidays via an AJAX post to an API.
If an event has already been registered we will require you will output the first two names and of the attendees and an option to "attend this event".
Once a user has selected that they are attending the UI will be updated to reflect their status IE "You are attending this event"
An example My School Holidays page you will need to integrate into is: http://myschoolholidays.com/Wilsden-Primary-School-8639
Technical notes:
The request must be AJAX so the user must not leave the page.
The styling will ideally match the current styling at http://MySchoolHolidays.com
You can use a modal if required however this may close upon successful creation / joining of an event.
All code must be unit tested
You will require knowledge of handling asynchronous events using jQuery [javascript].
You must:
Include examples of your work, we will need to see source code that includes comments, tests and extensive functionality. This should not be CSS or HTML, we are more concerned with the quality of the PHP Code.
Include an estimate of the # of hours this project will take you.
Include links to examples where you have worked with the Facebook API in the past.
Skills Required:
php, html, css, facebook, ajax, jquery, javascript, facebook-api
