Write a php function to remove a specific value

I am creating a wordpress directory site - with data being imported in using wp-all in one import

One of the field coming across there is an issue when the field holds a value of 0.00 - it shows as £0.00 on the site but we need it either to show as POA (which it cant as the field is a numerical/ integer field)

But if the field is blank nothing shows which is perfect!

I am looking for someone to write one php function to clear/ blank/remove the contents when the value in one field is set to 0.00 (but doesn't affect any other prices i.e. if something is 100.00 that would stillshow as nromal)
