Website updates

The first part of the next project is with regards to our Google Base feed which Google are now insisting on further information requirements for each product. According to Google we have “20 errors, only affecting Product Search, Search API for Shopping”. It would be helpful if we could put in place a Google Base data feed interface that can easily be updated by myself. I don’t know if this is possible?

The second part of the project is simply to replace a piece of code from our postcode search supplier. Please see correspondence between us below which hopefully makes sense to you?

We have recently started using your service on our website and there seems to be a problem with the auto fill on addresses selected with house names or business names where the first line of the address is being omitted form the auto fill (i.e. NR12 8XP). Please could you advise?

Hi Nigel,

I think I can see the issue. You currently have this config:

cp_obj_1.set("elem_company" , "bill_companyname"); // optional
cp_obj_1.set("elem_street1" , "b_address1");

But there is no "bill_companyname" field on your page. What I recommend is to change like this:

cp_obj_1.set("elem_company" , "b_address1"); // optional
cp_obj_1.set("elem_street1" , "b_address1");

and also:

cp_obj_2.set("elem_company" , "s_address1"); // optional
cp_obj_2.set("elem_street1" , "s_address1");

This will make the company name appear on line 1 of the address, if available.

The final part of the project is with regards to SEO. Currently the URL for any of our stores shows the store number i.e. http://www.watersoftenersaltuk.co.uk/pages/store_finder.php?locator=396
This would ideally show the town/city and first part of the postcode.

With regards to a time scale, of course the sooner the better, although the Google feed is the most pressing matter.
