General information for the business: data extraction of electoral info based on search criteria
Description of requirements/functionality: http://ceowestbengal.nic.in/onlinesearch/ need to extract data from this site. search by - Districtwise (fixed) select Acwise -
select district - 10- 24 south parganas Select AC (assembly) - 136 Joynagar
Search by - Name. Elector Name - Ash... (basically I want to extract all names starting with Ash in Assembly segment AC 136 Joynagar in 24 South Parganas district. when the search list gives the list, click on Details. The data shown in the details screen to be written to a CSV file or directly to excel.
The data can be single page or multiple pages depending on the search criteria.
csv file name should be district+AC code + name search criteria+001...002 etc. in the above example, file name will look like 24 parganas joy nagar ash 001. maximum 3000 records in a file and if it goes beyond, create another volume ending with 002, 003 and so on.
all selection parameters will be read from a text input file.
for the name search criteria, the script should be able to read multiple entries.. example, Ash, Sam, Raj .. the script can either process any name that matches these 3 criteria or any one criteria at a time.
if the script can show on the screen, the number of records currently processing counter.
Please specify what technology you will use, whether you have done such jobs before. if so, give me an example. source code to be provided to us. we will run the script.
