Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Turnaround - needed for Thursday 12th April. Hopefully should just be quick VBA fixes to existing Excel sheet.
This is a specialised solution for one of our clients and at this stage we are looking to increase the accessibility (our client has limited understanding of Excel) .
The spreadsheet uses a Pivot table to generate the results for our clients (with formula appended to the side of the table)
As this is not the final product (we anticipate the needs of the client will evolve as they get used to the data) there is a strong possibility for ongoing ad-hoc work to this spreadsheet.
Needs:
Usability:
1) Refresh Pivot Table as button in sheet
2) Formatting of sheet must remain the same when pivot table refreshed or selections changed. i.e column width must remain fixed.
3) #Div/0 values must not be returned when a #Div/0 error is returned. Instead default value must be ‘No value to return’
4) Button for printing report. Report must automatically fit the size of dataset returned. (not the hidden values/formulas)
Protection:
5) ‘Data’ sheet password protected and hidden.
6) Only pivot table selections can be changed. (ie preset Excel filters) No formulas or values can be changed by the client. The same password as above will unlock the spreadsheet if we wish to make changes.
