Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
General information for the business: This is a personal project
Description of requirements/functionality: The overall aim is to import photos (online or from a local source) and then try and match those pictures against known information - i.e a persons face, colour of their clothes, etc. I would like to do this via the Azure APIs
80% of this is already available from the Azure Face API , which comes with the SDK and documentation. Examples of this are - https://github.com/Microsoft/Cognitive-Face-Windows
To achieve the over all aim I would like the following components
Importing data (photographs) from different streams (local and online) for identification
Importing a photograph for matching purposes (local)
Pushing data to Azure APIs to process the data
Sending the output to a database or CSV (if thats easier) so this can be analysed late - outputs will be the data that the Azure output creates about the photographs.
All of this is should be fairly quick and simple - the reason I want to do this is I want to accelerate my understanding of this area, as well as build something I am interested in. Once I get the results I will be keen to see how the different components work and how it comes together.
OS requirements: Windows
Extra notes:
