Small python program

I have a fairly simple task which is the following:

Create a python program which creates test data for courses and grades.

The functionality is the following:

create 10 dummy course with 1000 grades per course
the grades need to be randomly generated with 0.0 the lowest grade and 10.0 the highest, the grades are given in 0.5 increments
the grades also need to be randomly generated with normalized distribution

The following calculations need to be done:
Highest grade - count of highest grade
Lowest grade - count of lowest grade
Median grade

The program should provide the ability for the user to save the data in a csv file
