Slow endpoint response between PHP and Next.js (fast on Postman)

Postman return our endpoints in 200ms, but on our Next.JS app they take 20 + seconds.

There must be something that is making it take extra time, and I need someone who has good experience with both PHP and Next.Js who can investigate it further and make the performance upgrades.

Our PHP is hosted on Forge Laravel and Gitlab.
Our Next.Js app is hosted on Vercel and Github (long story).

Candidate requirements:

- Must be able to speak English
- Must be very experienced and knowledgable in Next.Js and PHP, as there are opportunities for more complex work after this
- Must understand how to speed up the performance of PHP, xhr Ajax calls, and Next.Js
- Must be responsive with messages on Slack, Skype, or WhatsApp
- Must be committed to work qulality and helping us have a fast user experience
- Must hold a high standard in his/her work, and test, identify, and fix your own bugs quickly
