Simple Opencart Module Modification with PHP and HTML

I have a bespoke module written for Opencart in PHP with a separate table in a MySQL database.

The functionality required is already used within the module, it just needs copying to another place.

There are two parts to this development:

1) Only the first column filters, make all columns filter. Filter code copied already but doesn't seem to be working.

2) Copy the code from the main form to the list page so that the value can be applied to all records in the current filter.

For someone who knows their way around PHP I am sure this can be accomplished in one hour or less, but, I have placed a hopefully reasonable budget just in case.
