Setup server for Python-Dash app deployment (maybe flask and/or gunicorn) on Linux

I need to deploy some small Python Dash app online. For now self-hosted, later cloud hosted. I'm currently working on Ubuntu 16.04. Ideally I get a script that can readily setup a server for hosting my app on the web, so 'deploy' it for use through the web. Maybe using docker or a VM approach, though maybe also simply as is with a setup script to be run on Ubuntu for now, installing the server requirements and allowing to easily activate the hosting/deployment process.

I have a tiny setup app that automatically sets up my Ubuntu environment to be able to run the app on localhost with Flask, but I'd like to have a solution to readily make it available through the web.

I reckon to an experienced developer in the domain this may be a very simple task, while to me (programmer w/o server experience) it is a bit trickier. Would this be an ideal task you could do very easily? What is your estimate of how long it would take you?

I'm btw also keen to develop an ongoing relationship with a software developer whose knowledge of general software dev & admin complements my more basic c++ & python skills.

Before the work starts, we should briefly discuss how you go about it on a very high level so we're sure on the same page about what needs to be done.
