Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Project Overview
We are seeking a skilled freelance programmer with experience in e-learning standards to convert our existing training programme into a SCORM-compliant package. This work will support wider deployment via learning management systems used by local authorities, business improvement districts, hospitality training providers and night time economy partners.
Scope of Work
Review our current training programme (likely in PDF, video and/or slide formats)
Rebuild and reformat the content to SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 standards, ensuring compatibility with major LMS platforms (e.g. Moodle, Cornerstone, Totara)
Incorporate interactivity where appropriate, such as quizzes, navigation menus and branching logic
Maintain accessibility and responsive design for desktop, tablet and mobile
Test the final SCORM package for compliance and smooth operation across platforms
Provide documentation for future updates and upload instructions
Requirements
Demonstrable experience developing SCORM packages
Strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and/or e-learning development tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, iSpring Suite)
Understanding of UX for learning and accessibility best practice
Ability to work to deadlines and provide clear communication throughout the project
Desirable
Experience working with public sector or night time economy training programmes
Familiarity with safeguarding, licensing or venue training content
Timeline
We’d like the project to begin as soon as possible, with completion ideally within 3–4 weeks depending on scope.
How to Apply
Please send a brief overview of your experience, relevant examples of SCORM packages you’ve developed and your availability for this project. If helpful, we can arrange a short call to walk you through the current training format.
